In the spring of 2008, the Prince George Community Foundation hosted a reception for organization fund holders to celebrate the good work of the organizations and to "give back" the earned income from their funds.
Prince George African Heritage Society($2000) To assist the ongoing program of developing African Heritage talents. |

Prince George Potters Guild($1500) To assist the purchase of a new electric kiln. |

Northern Family Health Society($1500) To assist the ongoing “Hand in Hand” program providing nutritious food to at risk children. |

Canadian Red Cross Society($2500) To conduct two workshops for seniors regarding emergency preparedness during disaster situations. |

Elder Citizens Recreation Association($1500) To assist the development of a senior centre “Go Green” garden. |

Prince George Folkfest Society($1500) To assist the purchase of “backline” equipment for Coldsnap festivals. |

Canadian National Institute for the Blind($2500) To assist the purchase of audio visual equipment (computer & projector) used in industrial eye safety workshops. |

Prince George Conservatory of Music($1100) To assist in the purchase of percussion instruments. |

Prince George Metis Elders Society($2500) To promote the teaching of Metis history and the Michif language. |

MS Society of Canada – Prince George Chapter($2000) the ongoing Equipment Provision Program for those in financial need living with MS. |

Northern BC Friends of Children($2500) To update the “TLC Package” (resource information for families with children experiencing extraordinary medical needs) and make it available on the internet. |

The Canadian Council of the Blind($2400) To purchase refurbished laptop computers and to provide computer training to the local blind community. |

Prince George Search and Rescue Society($2500) To assist the purchase of specialized watercraft for dangerous fast water application. |
