Welcome to the Prince George Community Foundation!

We invite you to participate with us in opportunity to build a stronger community.

The Prince George Community Foundation is a non-profit charitable organization that was established on October 25, 1995 to provide a way for people to make a lasting gift to our community. We do this by building funds to create permanent endowments. The endowment funds are invested and the investment income is disbursed to local charitable groups. Leaving the principal untouched ensures the promise that your gift will be everlasting, and continue to benefit future generations forever.

The book value of endowed funds at the end of our fiscal year August 31, 2008 is $3.3 million. There are over one hundred funds held by the Foundation. These funds are managed by professional investment managers, and are monitored by our investment committee to ensure prudent care of our donors’ legacies.

The aims of the Foundation are reflected in our Mission Statement: We provide the opportunity to make a lasting charitable donation to enhance our community - forever.
